Author's Note: OK, so hopefully this will simply be a preview of the stuff I will be able to get done this week. I have so many stories to write it's ridiculous. I wrote this a couple of weeks back for evenstar_estel who wanted "Abby making Connor feel really good about himself when he's down, some sweet loving kisses, and Abby smiling just for him!"  It's raining here this morning, and that is always helpful to my muse.  :-)  Plus E keeps telling me that Cretaceous!Connor is foraging for roots and bulbs down in the little ravine outside my window.  LOL!  
Summary: That cappuccino that Connor wanted so badly did not have the desired effect he was hoping for.

 "Abby!!!"  Connor called.  

She ignored him.  It was still early and it was their day off.  She wasn't about to get out of bed.  

"Ab-by!!!"  

Oh good grief.  What in the world could be wrong now?  Abby reluctantly pulled the bed covers off and padded out to where he stood hovering over the kitchen sink holding his finger. 

"Rex bit me.  He actually bit me."

"What were you doing Connor?  He wouldn't do that for no reason." 

"I was having a chocolate biscuit and I guess he wanted some."

"You were teasing him again with it weren't you?"

"No.  OK, well, maybe just a little.  But... he bit me."

Abby turned around to see Rex gliding into the kitchen and landing with a loud chirp on the kitchen counter right in front of her.  She reached out and stroked the frill on top of his head.  

"Good boy, Rex.  Show Daddy who's boss."

"Abby, it's bleeding."  Connor held out his hand for her to see.  Sure enough there were a few *tiny* Rex sized teeth marks that were *barely* bleeding.  "Sid and Nancy never bite me."  Connor continued to complain. 

"Sid and Nancy aren't really very picky about what they eat though are they?"

"It stings," said Connor whilst flailing his hand about.  

"You want me to kiss it and make it better?"  Abby asked with a devilish grin on her face.

"Yes...please."

Abby took his finger and pressed her lips lightly to the injured skin.  

Connor positively melted into her touch.  Suddenly her lips on his bruised finger were not nearly enough for him.  He pulled her closer and all the whining was gone from his tone.  He growled, "He's your pet, and so that makes you responsible for his actions.  How are you going to pay me back for all my discomfort?"

"Oh, I bet I can think of something that will make you forget all about this little incident."  He bent down to kiss her and she turned away.  "No, that's not nearly enough for *all* your discomfort."  She smiled that devilish smile again.  

Connor pouted, a trace of the whine returning.  

She grabbed his hand before he could protest and dragged him back to their bedroom.  He looked somewhat puzzled.  It was early, but not early enough to go back to bed.  She shoved him back onto the bed and he suddenly found he didn't care what time it was.  She shut the door to the bedroom to keep their little creatures out, and true to her word with in seconds of the door closing, Connor forgot all about his injured finger.  

The last thing that Rex, Sid and Nancy heard before making themselves scarce was Connor ordering, "Call me Daddy again," and Abby dutifully complying.
